HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER


Online Orders:

Phone Orders:   
Contact your nearest branch, either local or toll-free, Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM (EST) in Ontario, and between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM (EST) in Quebec (Eastern Canada) and British Columbia (Western Canada) 5.00 a.m to 2.00 p.m (PST). If you call after hours or on holidays, please leave your name and contact number. Our Customer Service Team will return your call on the next business day.

 

Email & Traditional Mail:

Making Things Easy - Your Payment Options
We aim to make the financial aspect of our partnership as seamless as possible. Below are the details regarding our payment policies and options:

First Order Payment

For your first order, you have two options:

1. Prepayment: You can choose to prepay for your first order using any of the available payment methods listed below.

2. Apply for Credit Terms: Alternatively, you may apply for credit terms before placing your first order. To apply, simply provide us with your business name (or operating name) and full address by emailing community@avron.ca. We will perform a credit check and, upon approval, offer you 21-day payment terms for your order.

 

Payment Methods:

- 21-Day Credit Terms: Once approved for credit, you can take advantage of our 21-day payment terms. This allows you to make payments within 21 days of your invoice date, providing additional flexibility for your business.

- EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer): Utilize Direct Deposit for a secure and efficient payment process.

- PAD (Pre-Authorized Debit): A convenient way to ensure timely payments.

- Credit & Debit Cards: We accept Visa, Mastercard, and debit cards.

- PayPal: Available as a payment option.

- Online Banking:
     - Interac E-transfers: Please send to ar@avron.ca
     - Bill Payment: Under bill payment options, add "Avron" as a new payee, just like any other bill, and enter your customer number as your account number.

- Cheque: Payments can be made by cheque, payable to Avron Foods Limited.

- Financing Options: For additional flexibility, financing is available through our trusted partners. Contact community@avron.ca for more information.

 

Home Delivery Orders:

For those special, non-business orders, we can accept Visa or Mastercard.

Payment for Large Orders

For customers with credit terms, on orders exceeding $15,000, we require a 50% payment at the time of placing the order. The remaining balance must be paid before the order is shipped.

Overdue Accounts:

We get it, sometimes life happens. But please note, any overdue amounts will have a 2% monthly charge.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT TAXES


For Canadian Customers: 
Goods and Services Tax (GST), Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), and/or Provincial Sales Tax (PST/QST) will be added to orders where applicable depending on the delivery province. Tax-exempt customers must provide valid tax exemption numbers or cards.

We offer a select range of items available on special order. As these items are ordered on demand, please note the following terms regarding returns and cancellations:

 

Returns:
Special order items are subject to a 50% restocking fee due to their on-demand nature.

 

Cancellations:
Cancellations made more than 24 hours after order confirmation will incur a 50% restocking fee. This policy is in place because these items are on-demand items and cannot easily be returned to our regular stock.

 

Delivery Timelines:
- Standard special order items are typically delivered within an estimated 6-8 weeks.
- For intricate sensory products, the crafting process requires additional time. Please expect an estimated delivery time of 10-12 weeks for these items.

Unbeatable Price Guarantee:

If you find a better price on the same item from a Canadian childcare distribution site, inform us when placing your order, and we will beat that price by 20% of the difference.

- This offer applies to regular-priced items only.

RETURNS POLICY

We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with your purchase. Upon receipt of your package, please inspect the items to ensure they meet your expectations. If there are any issues, contact our Customer Service Team within 24 hours to address any concerns related to delivery.

- Items must be returned unopened and in the same condition as received.
- A restocking fee may apply to returned or cancelled items.
 

Delivery Costs for Returns: 

Customers outside of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) who are not serviced by Avron's delivery fleet may be responsible for the delivery cost of the returned items.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA): 

To facilitate the return process, obtain an RMA form from our Customer Service Team. This form is necessary to ensure accurate crediting to your account accurately. Returns without an RMA form may not be processed correctly.

 

Order Accuracy: 
Double-check your order before placing it to minimize errors. If an incorrect item is ordered, you will be responsible for the shipping charges to return it.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY

Avron provides comprehensive shipping solutions across Canada. We utilize our own fleet within specified delivery service areas in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and partner with courier or cartage companies for areas outside of these zones.

 

Fleet Delivery Zones: 
- Orders over $300 before taxes within our delivery service area qualify for free shipping.
- Within the GTA (highlighted in blue on our delivery map on the link below), orders over $200 before taxes qualify for free shipping.
- A shipping fee of $30.00 applies to orders less than $200.00 (before taxes) within the GTA.
- Outside the GTA but within our service areas, a shipping fee of $50.00 is applicable for orders less than $300.00 (before taxes).

BACK ORDERS
We are committed to ensuring that you receive your complete order promptly. If we are unable to fulfill an item in your order, we will notify you via email or phone as soon as possible.

 

Out of Stock and Discontinued Items: 
Occasionally, items may be out of stock or discontinued by the manufacturer. In such cases, we reserve the right to cancel any pending backorders for those items. How It Works:

• Earn 1 point for every $1 spent on qualifying purchases until December 31st, 2025

• Once you accumulate 25,000 points, you unlock an annual reward credit of $2,500

 


Eligibility:

Shipping Information:

 

Nationwide Delivery Coverage:

• Orders over $99 before taxes qualify for free shipping across all provinces

• Orders with a subtotal of $69 or less incur a minimum freight charge of $9.99

• Orders with a subtotal between $70 and $98 incur a freight charge of $29.99

 


Shipping Surcharge Policy:

Avron provides free shipping on qualifying orders, limited to 25% of the order subtotal (excluding taxes). If shipping costs exceed this threshold, Avron may apply a surcharge. Our Customer Care team will contact you by email or phone before processing such orders to provide surcharge details and request your approval. Orders will proceed only after receiving your confirmation.

 


Remote Postal Code Policy:

• Orders delivered to remote locations, as designated by Canada Post, are subject to a delivery charge of 25% of the order subtotal

• If remote delivery charges do not cover shipping costs adequately, customers will be notified of additional surcharges

 


Surcharge & Special Item Policy:

• Avron contributes up to 15% of the order subtotal to offset additional delivery costs

• Special items or orders with irregular dimensions or requiring specialized handling may incur delivery surcharges

• Customers will be notified of any additional surcharges for approval before shipment

 


Additional Surcharges:

• Accessorial charges apply for tailgate or inside deliveries

• Deliveries by barge, sea craft, ferry, rail, or air may incur additional charges

• Orders requiring two-person delivery or deliveries to the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Labrador, and Nunavut may incur additional surcharges

 • This promotion is called the Avron Childcare Food Pass. It’s open to new Avron Food customers only

 

 2. What You Get

 • 1st Order: Free, up to a maximum value of $750.

How It Works: 
- Earn 1 point for every $1 spent on qualifying purchases until December 31st, 2024.

Eligibility: 
- The avronmax rewards program is open to all customers who sign up for avronmax on avron.ca.

Earning Points:

AVRONMAX FREE SHIPPING WITH A $99 MINIMUM ORDER

avronmax provides comprehensive shipping solutions across Canada.

 

Nationwide Delivery Coverage: 
- Orders over $99 before taxes are eligible for free shipping across all provinces.
- For orders with a subtotal of $69 or below, a minimum freight charge of $9.99 is applied.
- Orders with a subtotal ranging from $70 to $98 incur a freight charge of $29.99.

 

Remote Postal Code Policy: 
- Orders destined for remote locations, as defined by Canada Post, are subject to a delivery charge of 25% of the order subtotal.
- In instances where the remote delivery charge does not adequately cover shipping costs, customers will be informed, and surcharges may apply.

 

Surcharge & Special Item Policy: 
- Special items or orders characterized by irregular dimensions or requiring specialized handling are subject to a delivery surcharge where standard delivery methods are insufficient.
