Description
This Weighted Vest provides soothing sensory input, as the weight functions as a reassuring deep hug and sensory organizer. The cotton/ poly blend is smooth to the touch for children who otherwise may be sensory defensive. This weighted vest is ideal for children with autism as well as those who have sensory processing disorders or ADHD. Weights are safely positioned in pockets inside the vest and can be added or removed. Vest includes two, 227g (0.5lb) weights and four, 113g (0.25lb) weights for a total of 907g (2lb). This vest features hook and loop closures on the sides as well as snaps down the front allow for maximum comfort, easy sizing, and quick removal. Machine washable in cold water. (remove weights before washing). Use weighted products with guidance from a therapist, and provide adult supervision.
