SENSORY SNAP WEEKENDS AT HOME

Sensory Snap is an engaging tactile game designed by Active Minds. Sensory stimulation can be very important for people in later stages of dementia. When language and reasoning become difficult, other senses can be used for relaxation, reassurance and communication. The objective of Sensory Snap is to match the tile to the correct photograph. For an extra challenge the player can try to group the tiles into 3 different themes such as things you would find indoors. During research and development with people living with dementia, every texture and image was tested to ensure they resonated well with the user group. Each tile can be washed to comply with infection control standards. Measures 28.7cm x 22.2cm x 2.2cm (11” x 9” x .87”).
